Shannon writes and illustrates fun and meaningful children’s stories starring animal characters. Her stories have inspiring messages of happiness, self-worth, adventure, thoughtfulness, nature, and purpose. She can often be found outside sketching animals she sees around the forests near her home. She explains…

"There is something inspirational and almost magical that happens when you walk through a forest and be with nature. A story is created in my mind with incredible detail and purpose, and the challenge is finding a way to put that story to paper in both writing and illustrating. It is a passion that I enjoy every single day, and my happiness comes from seeing children smile when reading my stories.”

Shannon believes it is important to protect children from accessing mature content and therefore all of her books are acceptable for young audiences and people of any age.

Shannon has many new projects beginning and enjoys connecting with people from all over the world. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outside in nature.
